Welcome to the 2017 swim season! We will be in the pool before you know it! Our first day in the water is May 22nd! We are excited to start our season!

Jenny Haar is the Swim Team Coordinator and Mark Schuetze is our 2nd swim team representative and will be coordinating our volunteers. Michele Mayers and Maggie Sculthorpe are all returning and form the swim team committee. We are working hard on getting things ready for this summer's season.

Registration

It’s not too late to register, so if any friends are interested, let them know that they can still register.  They do need to be members of the pool.

Practice Schedule for May 22 – June 15

*We acknowledge that this is a busy time of year with school still in session and many activities still happening.  Please do your best to make it to practice when you can.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.  The practice schedule while school is in session is as follows, Monday through Thursday – afternoons only!

Mites (ages 8 and under) - 4:30 – 5:00

Midgets (ages 9-10) - 5:00 - 6:00

Juniors, Intermediates & Seniors (ages 11+) - 6:00 - 7:00

No practice on Fridays while school is in session.

No practice on Monday, May 29 - Memorial Day

*Parent Meeting June 8th - 5:15 pm

May 22-24 – Swim team Evaluation - 4:00 – 4:30pm

All new swimmers under the age of 8 without prior swim team experience will need to participate. An in water evaluation will determine your swimmers status of needing either lessons, pre-team lessons or moving directly to the team

Volunteers

Volunteers are essential to the swim team and the running of swim meets! We are counting on each family to participate! If you have any questions regarding volunteer positions please contact Mark Schuetze at [email protected]

We are in need of parents interested in being Strokes and Turn judges.  Training is required, but provided by the league for free.  It’s about 2 hours and Mark will send out a schedule of the training to those that may be interested.  Let Mark know if you're interested and need more information.
