Registration Fees

Your balance for swim team registration has been updated in MemberSplash. To make your payment, login to MemberSplash at this link:https://glenallen.membersplash.com/

Go to Payments. --> Make a Payment. You'll see an amount populated for "Swim Team Balance Due." Scroll to the bottom and choose your payment method. Click Next to enter your payment information and process your payment.

If you'd prefer to pay by check, choose “check”, process your payment and then bring your check and give it to Leigh Anne or Nicole. Swim Team registration fees are dueby June 7th. Please note that if we do not receive the registration fee, then your swimmer is unable to participate in our first meet.

Last Call to Sign Up for Swim Buddies

This is a great opportunity to build connections within our team! Our swim buddy program pairs older, experienced swimmers with younger or newer teammates to build team spirit, offer mentorship, and provide mutual encouragement. Typically, these buddy systems are designed to foster friendships, help kids prepare for events, and ensure everyone has a cheering section during meets. It is a common tradition for buddies to exchange small tokens of encouragement. This might include handmade signs, friendship bracelets, encouraging notes, healthy snacks, or favorite candies. Coach’s Corner

Meet 1 is quickly approaching, and we are so excited! Please RSVP for Meet 1 via Swimtopia by Sunday (5/31). We will be having a Mock Meet on Saturday, June 6th starting at 9:00 am for our new swimmers only. This is a way for our new swimmers to run through how swim meets run and practice starts with our starter.

Meet 1 - June 8th

It takes all hands on deck to get meets started and keep them running smoothly, so thank you to all the families who have already signed up to volunteer! We still have volunteer positions open, and we need your help. Please sign up for one of the following positions by going to Swimtopia. We cannot begin the meet without your help!

• Strokes & Turns - 2 for 2nd shift
• Timers - 1 for 1st shift and 3 for 2nd shift
• Verifier - 1 for full meet (This is an easy role where you are just double checking the swim time matches what the computer operators put into the system, and it counts as 2 volunteer positions. If you would like to be a verifier, please contact Nicole Freundt)

We understand that volunteering takes time and effort, but it truly makes a difference. To show our appreciation and add a little extra incentive, we’ll be tracking points for each volunteer position throughout the season. Volunteers will then be entered into a giveaway for a prize of their choice: a $50 Amazon gift card, a $50 Spirit Wear voucher, or $50 worth of guest passes! These drawings will occur after the third swim meet and the last swim meet. Let the competition begin 🙂

New Practice Times

Now that school is out for summer, we will transition to our new practice times! However, this coming week, we do not have a swim meet, therefore, our Tuesday morning practice will be a regular morning practice versus the Fun Practice schedule. *Note: Fun practice times start on June 9th*

Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays, and Fridays

• Pre-Team: 8:30 - 9:00 am
• 8 & Under: 8:15 - 9:00 am
• 9-10 year old: 9:00 - 10:00 am
• 11 - 18 year old: 10:00 - 11:00 am

Afternoons (available to swimmers who cannot make morning practice - no doubles) 6:00 - 7:00 pm

• Tuesday & Thursday: 10 & Under 
• Wednesday: 11 & Older

Fun Practice

We look forward to our first fun practice on Tuesday, June 3rd! There will be pancakes served and ribbons passed out between the two practices. Shout out to our moms (and volunteer swimmers) who make our pancakes happen every week like clock work!

• 8U & 9/10: 9:00 - 9:45 am
• Pancakes for everyone - 9:45-10:15am
• 11/12, 13/14, & 15+: 10:15 - 11:00 am
