Meet Themes

We're excited to announce our meet themes for our home meets this year: 

• 6/2 - Gliders can go the distance- wear your favorite Disney related look
• 6/9 - Who will rule the pool? Heros vs Villains
• 7/7 -  If your favorite athlete was a Glider…

For away meets, show your team pride and wear Glider colors/Glider gear!

Practice and Pizza

We are excited to kick off the season with Practice and Pizza on Thursday, May 29th! Make dinner easy for your family. Order using the link on the flyer and choose a timeslot for pickup that corresponds with the end of your swimmer's practice. Click here to order - orders must be placed by midnight on Tuesday - 5/27.

Registration Fees

Your balance for swim team registration has been updated in MemberSplash. To make your payment, login to MemberSplash at this link:https://glenallen.membersplash.com/

Go to Payments. --> Make a Payment. You'll see an amount populated for "Swim Team Balance Due." Scroll to the bottom and choose your payment method. Click Next to enter your payment information and process your payment.

If you'd prefer to pay by check, choose check, process your payment and then bring your check and give it to Leigh Anne or Nicole. Swim Team registration fees are dueby May 31st unless otherwise communicated with swim team reps. Let us know if you have any questions.

Swim Meet 1 Information

Our first meet is right around the corner on June 2nd! Our swimmers have already been working hard and coaches are getting swimmers signed up soon. Please log into SwimTopia to let the coaches know if your swimmer will be swimming at Meet 1: June 2nd. To do this, go to the SwimTopia website -> Upcoming Events -> View All. When you select this, all meets populate and you can select Meet Entry to RSVP for your swimmer.

Calling all Volunteers

Our first meet is right around the corner on June 2nd, and we need you! We still have a number of volunteer slots available - click here to sign up. All slots state 1:00 PM, since we are unsure of the exact times. However, we typically have the 1st half of the meet begin at 6:00 PM and the 2nd shift at approximately 8:00 PM. Please note these times are flexible depending on team sizes and the meet pace.

• 50/50 Raffle: 2nd shift
• Callers: 1 for first shift and 2 for second shift
• Concession Worker - 2 for 2nd shift
• Grill Master - 1 for full meet
• Timers - 2 for 1st shift and 4 for 2nd shift
• Verifier - 1 for full meet (sitting in the shade with the overhead fan 🙂)

We will explain/train for all jobs, so don’t worry about that! We ask that all families sign up for 4 volunteer slots, as we cannot begin meets until slots are filled.
