Good evening Gliders, 

Meet entries are still being finalized, they will be posted tomorrow morning at the pool before practice. There are still several volunteer spots open for our meet tomorrow night! 

We want to take a moment to thank all swimmers and families that competed in our annual scavenger hunt last week! It was so fun getting to watch all the amazing clips and photos, but the best part was watching our swimmers work together, bond, and have fun. With a lot of tallying and discussing, we have a winner…

The team of Carter, Anaya, Zoe, Kylee, and Saxby WON first place! Congrats team Sea Otter! Please see the coaches this week for a special prize.

We also want to highlight our second and third place teams, which all had points given to their Glider Games teams for their hard work. Congrats to Sully and Tyler and the team of Anna, Evan, Audrey, Jack, Eli, and Ethan! We loved all your amazing entries.

We also want to take a moment to update everyone on the Glider Games. It’s been an amazing summer so far getting to watch our teams compete, bond, and work together with passion and spirit. The first annual games have already become an exciting addition to the team and we can’t wait for the tradition to grow in the coming years. We’ve also noticed the universal effort and work that all teams have put into the competition, and we have a few updates. The coaches have decided to reward the entire team with an ice cream social THIS TUESDAY at 6:00pm for all your hard work this season. Here is the updated tally, but the games aren’t over yet! We still have our food drive this Monday and fun practice on Tuesday… so keep going gliders!
