Gliders:

A few housekeeping items before we get to the meet information!

1.Morning practice – Parents, please remember to pick up your swimmers at the end of practice. Our coaches can’t be responsible for your swimmers after practice because they have other things that need to be taken care of.

2.Our 11+ year old practice ends at the same time that the pool opens during the week. If your swimmer is 13 and older, then they are welcome to remain at the pool but they will have to exit and check-in at the front gate. It is required that everyone sign-in at the front gate to remain at the pool. Swimmers 11-12 will need to be picked up by an adult because they are not allowed to be at the pool without an adult.

3.Reminder to sign-up for the Remind app for text notifications of cancellations/delays from the swim team. Text @gliders23 to 81010 to register!

4.Parent relay at the meet Monday – we have a couple of spots left in our Glider parent relay team for Monday. First 2 to respond get them!

5.S&T practice for all swimmers tomorrow (Saturday morning) at 9am. The pool opens at 10am, so the same rules apply as #2 above!

Meet 2 – Gliders @ Avalon (510 Heathfield Road, Henrico, VA 23229)

Our second meet is Monday evening and we’re looking forward to another great meet!

Time: Monday, June 19th - 6:00 pm start, with check in beginning at 5:00, team meeting at 5:25 and warmups at 5:35. We are visiting Avalon. See below for some key information about the meet and at the bottom for some information from Avalon.

Please note the times - they are a bit earlier than our usual Monday meet times.

Meet Entries

Meet entries are attached and like last week are subject to change. Our final entries will be available at the meet, but please check them for your swimmers and let us know if you see any issues..

Volunteers:

We still have some volunteer positions open for this meet. Please let us know if you are able to fill one of these spots!
