Gliders Banquet 2022

With a great coaching staff, eager and excited swimmers and fantastic parent support, we had a very successful season! Now it's time to celebrate all that was accomplished!
Here are some more details on the Banquet this Friday. Please note that there was a typo in the email from Coach Kelly last night - Banquet starts at 6pm, with the awards and other presentations starting at 6:30.
Banquet
Date: July 23
Time: 6:00 (awards start at 6:30)
Place: Gravel lot next to the pool, behind the slides
Based on feedback from the last few years, we are going to continue to do our banquet outside, tailgate style. Each family brings their own food, but the team will be providing cupcakes! When you arrive, park around the outside of the lot and we'll have the awards in the center by the fence.
After the awards, we will head into the pool for fun and possibly relays (parents - be prepared to swim!!) We are keeping the pool open until 11pm for the swim team (and families!) only.
Parents - we plan to have relays because the kids have been asking for them. We may have 1 or two actual relays, but then also a few fun relays (think float relays, etc.) Please strongly consider joining us as a relay participant. I'm sure your kids will love it. Reply to this email if you are interested in swimming in ne or more relays and we will coordinate on Friday! No fancy swimsuits required!
Seeding meeting
We are in need of one volunteer that may be able to go to the Champs seeding meeting on Friday night at 6pm! Last year, it went super quick and they were done fairly early! It is just verifying names and times so you don't need any specific training! I know it is during our banquet but if anyone may be available, we would greatly appreciate you! THANK YOU!
Coach Gifts
