I hope everyone is having a great July 4th weekend. We are preparing for our 2nd home meet of the year! Read to the bottom of the email for a special event!

Note: The meet is on Tuesday night due to the holiday weekend!

Preliminary entries have been sent out already. If for some reason, your swimmer cannot make the meet and is on the entry list, please let the coaches know ASAP!!

Set Up

We begin setting up for the meet at 4pm on Tuesday and can always use help, so if you can help, please come and we will put you to work!

Volunteers

We are in need of several volunteers for the meet on Tuesday.

Mite Parents - I could use a couple of people to help organize the mites for their events. Mostly a first half of the meet job.

Timers - I need (5) 2nd half timers

Caller - I need one more 2nd half caller

Concessions - I could use 1 more 2nd half concession person

Heat Ribbons - I could use a 2nd half heat ribbon person - gives out the ribbon and candy to each heat winner (could be a student needing volunteer hours)

Water Delivery - I need someone to walk around delivering waters for the meet workers (could be a student needing volunteer hours)

Head Table - I am in desperate need of 2 people to help manage the head table - This is a critical job and we can train you at the meet.  This job gets shade and snacks!!!

Parent Relay

We are planning on a parent relay against parents from Avalon. This will be a 100 freestyle relay (meaning each parent races 25 yards (no flip turns, no butterfly!!). We have spots for 16 parents to participate. First 16 parents to respond get the slots! Email me back at [email protected] if you want to race.
