    Gliders Thank You!

    Dear Glider families!

We cannot believe that our quarantine swim year has come to a close. As I looked around the pool during the last meet and practice, my heart couldn't be more full and thankful for each and every one of you! It went by way too fast and I am I so sad that it is over already! This season was a different one for sure, but one for the books! :-) It was still filled with so many fun memories that will be remembered for many more years to come and I am just so grateful for all of you for trusting us to find a way to make the season happen! Although we didn't get to see as many of you as often as we usually do during a season, it still brought a smile to my face to see you on the pool deck and the parking lots through masks and all:-) It was a true joy to bring summer swim team to your kiddos this summer and to see them all still being kids and having fun through this crazy, unknown year we are all in. Truly, we cannot thank you enough for everything! For all the volunteers, for allowing your kiddos to swim, for trusting us and believing in us to make this happen-both us as reps and our coaches, to getting them to practices, allowing them to participate, to being on the deck to supporting not only your swimmer but others, and for your kindness and generosity! You all brought tears to my eyes as I read through each message on my card and you all are way too generous and thoughtful for your gift. Thank you, thank you, thank you all! I am so grateful for every one of you and lucky to be a part of the Glider family! Sending all the virtual hugs and hope to see you all on the pool deck next year:-) Or maybe still in the parking lot;-) HA! Take care and stay healthy! And as always, if you have any questions or need anything, ask Mark! Haha, just kidding, we are both always here if you need anything! Thank you so much again!

    Kristi

I am not much for words, but this season has been a special season for me and I have all of you to thank. Through the challenge of not knowing we could have a season at all, to the excitement of seeing the joy and happiness on the faces of swimmers and parents alike as we got out of the house and back to something normal, this season is definitely one we'll remember. I really want to thank all the parents for their help with bringing the swimmers to practice, helping us stay safe during meets, volunteering at the meets and being extremely supportive as Kristi and I worked through the challenges that this year brought us. The flexibility and understanding shown by swimmers and families made our jobs so much easier.  I really want to thank everyone for the gift and card and look forward to coming back even stronger next year. Thanks for everything!
