    Meet 1 wrap-up

    June 9th

    Great job tonight, Gliders! This was a tough first meet - we were competing against the reigning JRAC Champs! Though we didn't come out on top, the coaches are extremely pleased with the score: 

    Westwood: 1,737 Glen Allen: 1,053 

    Individual times will be posted on the website in the next day or so.  An email will be sent once updated.

    Along with a great team score, we also had some individual swimmers who received the honor of Triple Winner. 

    Congratulations to the following Triple Winners:

    Ben Bever 
    Sarah Carter 
    Madison Pierce

    We also celebrated three swimmers who have been practicing extremely hard and have shown great dedication this season so far. 
    Our Swimmers of the Week are: 

    Mites - Camden Williams 
    Midgets - Evan Wittie 
    Juniors/Intermediates/Seniors - Lindsey Johnson 

    We are looking forward to continuing our hard work next week! 

    This week's schedule:

    Practices: Monday through Thursday - usual times!
    Ice Cream Social: Thursday after practices: 7 pm  -we could use a few parent helpers to help set-up and scoop!  Let us know if you can help.
    Starts and Turns practice: Saturday morning: 9-10 am
