Hello Gliders!

What a great, easy start to our new season! We are thrilled to continue to see SO many swimmers on deck during practice times and it is great catching up with everyone!

Just a few reminders before we send out meet details later this week!

New Swim Suits

-Nova will be on deck this Thursday, June 7 during practice to sell our new swim suits again!

Parent Meeting:

Friday, June 8 – 5:15 pm – under the Pavilion

Just a reminder your swimmer(s) must be fully paid for to swim in a meet. Payments must be received by Friday, June 8^th – please refrain from handing us checks or cash at the swim meet – as there is a lot going on during that time and we want our full attention and focus to be on the meet and our swimmers. Thank you for your understanding with this.

Checks may also be dropped off at Jenny’s House – place in mailbox in an envelope or under front mat

Fundraising Items – see Jenny or Mark for either item

1 – We are selling Papa John’s Pizza Cards for $10 – lots of good freebies with this card.

2- Flying Squirrels - Game is on June 23rd.  It looks as if we'll get to walk around the field before the game and have our team announced on the scoreboard.  Tickets are $9 and proceeds benefit the team!

3-50/50 raffle will continue at the swim meets – all proceeds go to the Gliders Scholarship Fund

4-Canned Food Drive continues at all meets – drop off items at check-in

Missing a meet? Please let us know as soon as you know by completing the link below. We recognize that other sports cancellations and illnesses impact notification, we begin working on the lineup for a meet the Wednesday before the meet. Non-emergency notifications that come in on Friday-Sunday impact our ability to post the lineup earlier. Please do your best to let us know now about all scheduled absences for the season.

Saturday, June 9 - 8:30-9:30 am starts and turns practice

Saturday, June 9 - 9:30 am mock meet for NEW 10 and under swimmers

Saturday, June 9 - 9:30 am spirit posters and decorations for non-mock meet participants.

Sunday, June 10 - 2:30 pm Home meet vs Hermitage - more details on this soon.  Meet starts at 2:30, but check-in and warm-ups will be earlier.

Wednesday, June 13 - 6:30 pm - Ice Cream Social
